Leadership Academy
The 2013 Leadership & Volunteering camp will be split into two parts. The first day will be hosted by Wolves Community Trust at the Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton. This will focus on the wider curriculum aspects of the School Games including media, culture and wider event opportunities. This will be held on 20th May 2013 - 13:00-18:00.
The second day will be hosted by the University of Wolverhampton at the Walsall Campus. This will focus on training the sport specific volunteers to ensure they are fully prepared to deliver the Level 3 Competition. We expect that these volunteers will be appropriate to deliver this type of activity and this should be demonstrated on the expression of interest. This will be held on 23rd May 2013 - 13:00-18:00.
As a result of the Leadership Camp, young people will gain:

New communication skills

A better understanding of working with and understanding customers

New knowledge and skills
-
Experience in applying these skills in a camp/event setting

Understanding of the role and duties that they will perform at the School Games Festival.
