Charlie Hopkirk

Research Analyst (Productivity & Skills)

Charlie joined the Consortium in August 2016 as an Economic Development Graduate. Following a year in this research-based role, he started a new role as a research analyst in the Intelligence team, specifically for the West Midlands Combined Authority’s Productivity and Skills Commission. This involves the extraction and analysis of data across a number of sectors within the Combined Authority area, to be used as part of the Commission’s ‘deep dive’ into sectors, and also helping the co-ordination of activities within the Commission. Charlie graduated in 2016 from the University of Manchester with a BA (Hons) in Economics & Politics. In the past he has had part-time roles in market research and customer service whilst studying. Charlie has also completed the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.
