Emma Forde

Research, Intelligence & Policy Analyst

Emma joined the Consortium in September 2018 as Economic Development Graduate working with the Economic Intelligence Unit. Her role will mostly involve looking at and keeping track of ongoing environmental projects in the Black Country, as well as thinking of new projects that could commence to enhance the natural environment and improve resident’s quality of life. She will also produce dashboards relating to environmental metrics such as air quality and attend environmental board meetings to update and keep track of the state of the environment in the Black Country.

Emma has previously worked with Birmingham City Council as part of the Sports team based at the Alexandra Stadium in Perry Barr. Her role involved conducting research into the potential benefits of using sport and physical activity as a medium for integration between recently arrived refugee communities and long-term residents.

Emma graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Birmingham.
