Your background and experience: Since the age of 18 have either owned my own business or aided my family in running their company operating in various business sectors. During the same period, I worked as a civil servant at the Department for Transport working on road safety projects. After which I took up the position as a business analyst, help desk manager at Birmingham City Council business support unit focusing on how correctly used technology can improve business performance and increase revenues. That particular role involved the management and support of over 400 schools through the use of IT service design, maintaining website portal, providing additional support through the management of helpdesk telephone line for 3000 portal users and 33,000 staff.
