Leah Goode

Healthy Schools Co-ordinator

Leah joined Active Black Country in November 2020 as Healthy School’s Co-ordinator. Her main focus of work is co-ordinating and implementing the Black Country Healthy Schools Programme, National Active Lives Children’s survey and The Black Country Rainbow Hour, working alongside the Education Lead.

Leah is seeking to provide a strong and varied offer of sport and physical activity that appeals to young people in schools across each of the 4 Black Country Local Authority areas.

More recently, Leah has worked in a local primary school supporting and delivering programmes to support children’s Social, Emotional, Mental Health and behavioural needs. She worked alongside teachers to support with their delivery of P.E and Rainbow Hour. She has experience of working with a variety of primary schools in other roles that supported with Physical Activity and Mental Health.

Graduated from Newman University in 2019 with a Master’s degree in Health Mentoring with children.
