Active Black Country is the Active Partnership for the Black Country region covering the areas of Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton. Our organisation has a passionate belief that physical activity and sport can change people’s lives and that it is every resident’s right to be active and play sport. We have an ambition is to ‘create an active healthy region’ and enable our 318,000 inactive residents to be active.


With a strong priority on children, young people and education we are recruiting for a position to support schools to broaden the physical activities and sporting opportunities available to pupils across the region.


We are recruiting for a self-motivated, experienced and pro-active individual to lead on this important piece of work. As the programme lead, you will coordinate and implement the Black Country Healthy Schools Programme, working with schools across the region to embed physical activity across the school day, recognising and championing schools who value the role of Physical Activity in developing pupils’ health and wellbeing.
