Internal Support Co-ordinator

£18,000 to £20,000 pro rata, per annum (dependent on experience).

(3 month Fixed-Term Contract, commencing in January (dependent on experience).


Job Description: 

The Growth Hub Internal Support Co-ordinator will join a passionate team that delivers a ‘real and meaningful’ business support sign-posting service to help individuals and businesses access the support that is available to help drive business growth.

 

The Internal Support Co-ordinator will be the welcoming and professional first point of contact for all visitors to the Black Country Growth Hub.  They will manage all aspects of Black Country Growth Hub room hire reservations and ensure that the customer experience of the Black Country Growth Hub is a satisfactory one.

 

The Internal Support Co-ordinator will provide professional clerical and administrative support to the BCGH Team and Manager.  This will include work of a confidential and commercially sensitive nature and the collation of information.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Main front of house team member receiving visitors and calls from internal/external contacts relating to Black Country Growth Hub enquiries.
  • Provide a full and confidential secretarial and administrative service to the BCGH Manager and wider BCGH staff including diary management, preparation of reports and correspondence, preparing and distributing mailshots, maintaining records etc as requested.
  • Preparation and analysis of statistical data.
  • Administer and monitor room bookings within BCGH.
  • Prepare Development Centre facilities for room bookings, organising catering where necessary and ensuring health and safety standards are met.
  • Prepare and submit purchase orders for the budget holder.
  • Work with the BCGH CRM system to manage and maintain enquiries.
  • Responsible for chasing and collating timesheets from staff within the department and forwarding these timesheets to the appropriate line manager.
  • Provide administrative support across the BCGH partnership including European, private Sector and Regional funded projects.
  • Undertake directed internet-based research and provide briefing reports.
  • Assist in event planning and delivery of events as required.

Circumstances 

Able to work flexibly to accommodate early and late working times from time to time.

Standard working hours for this post will be 8.00am to 4.30pm.
