Programme Support Administrator

£22,000 - £24,000

This role will be required to provide first class administrative support to key areas and directives across the Black Country Consortium Ltd.

To provide programme monitoring, evaluation and administrative support for projects across all work themes of the Strategic Economic Plan i.e. Business, People, Place.

To support the consistent use of the defined project management methodology and governance, as determined by the Programme Management Office (PMO).

The Programme Support Administrator will support the following work streams within the Black Country Consortium Ltd (BCC Ltd):

  • The Active Black Country Programme
  • The Black Country Growth Hub
  • Programme Management Office
  • Corporate Secretariat Office

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Collation and issuing of related papers for specified meetings.
  • Co-ordinating and arranging of specified board meetings, as well as any ad hoc meetings that may be required.
  • Co-ordination of attendees for meetings (ensuring a quorum is maintained).
  • Agenda setting for specified Board meetings, as well as any ad hoc meetings – as required.
  • Minute capturing and note taking for key meetings – as required.
  • Data capturing and administration support to the PMO, in particular, with regards to the PMO information system (Verto).
  • To lead on and coordinate the annual review of the PMO Black Country LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) Assurance Framework – this will involve tracking and collating changes and working alongside Walsall Council.
  • Act as a champion for efficient processes, good governance methodology and programme standards.

Salary: £22,000-£24,000 per annum (dependent on experience).  This is a permanent, full-time role.
